June 20: Urban Mosaics, Columns & Fight Club
You have quite the choice tonight. Or you could get them all in if you’re on top of it. Translations Gallery has even planned your dinner stop.
URBAN MOSAICS | Translations Gallery
Two interesting artists will be showcased tonight. Sandy Schimmel uses colorful urban elements such as restaurant menus and gallery show cards as tiles in her mosaics of people. Joshua Stone stitches together graffiti with blocks of images for complex and detailed compositions. The gallery is also thinking of your nourishment needs by providing dinner coupons (20% off) to Santa Fe Tequila Company up the street.
