FIBER OPENING RECEPTION | Lakewood Cultural Center

Now I realize that a fiber exhibit at the Lakewood Cultural Center doesn’t sound like something to put on the list, but I really think you should consider it. It’s cool to see an unexpected medium show up in a contemporary form. Check out these two of the four artists for samples: Nancy Koenigsberg and Jason Pollen.

FASHION’S NIGHT OUT | Boulder

Yes that is all of Boulder. Right down the middle of Pearl Street, plus events at all of the local apparel shops. It’s a nationwide event and Denver is participating, but with not as much of a coordinated effort as Boulder. I’d check out the Boulder night.

SEPTEMBER EVENTS & GOODBYE

Typically I do a series of postings in top-down chronological order for a particular week. This month, I’m giving you the whole month in reverse chronological order. Hopefully you can figure it out okay.

The reason I’m giving you a whole month’s of events is because there’s a high likelihood that these will be my last posts. Given the demands of my busy photography business, it’s getting difficult to set aside the time required to share all this amazing information with you all. I’ve done it out of my own passion for contemporary art, but it doesn’t appear to be sustainable. You may hear from me again soon or from time to time. But until then, it’s been real.
